Red, White + Blue

This shoot was so fun + so humbling! This beautiful mama is the wife of a 1st Sargent who is still active in our US Military. We could a special access to the base at Fort Snelling + took our photos around all the retired Military planes. It was so cool and I would love to go back and visit the museum there. It was also super hot this day and we did prime afternoon time! Which for a photographer is hard but we made it work! God blessed us with some wind and I also had a handy assistant as well. The American flag as you will soon come to find out is something I love + love to accessorize with! With the 4th of July weekend right around the corner I am so excited to be at the lake with family and celebrate all the Red, White + Blue!

My 1st Wedding

 

Wow, my first ever solo wedding! I have been a second shooter and few times which I really enjoy but never thought I would get to the point in my photography for a Bride to ask me to capture her wedding!! I had almost every bit of emotions that one could have, but along with all the nerves I had confidence + was determined to capture all the special moments of that day. Along with it being on a beautiful boat in June, it was SO HOT. There were so many details that represented the couple and I loved how personalized the ceremony and decor was! It meant so much to them both to have all their loved ones there and celebrate after 8 years of dating, they tied the knot!! Congratulations to them both, I wish them a life of wedded bliss!!

Crazy Love Engagement

These two are just smitten by one another and it is so clear! I am lucky to call this future Bride a friend of mine as well. We had to reschedule this shoot because the day it was scheduled it was down poor rain the entire day! I am so glad we did so and got this beautiful night!! The lighting I could not have ordered better and it was just perfect. Stillwater, MN has so many cool buildings and locations, its as almost if it looks like you shot in a few different towns!! 

This sweet friend of mine asked me early in my photography pursuit if I could do their engagement because she loved my work thus far and wanted to support me! I was so humbled + honored to have a friend believe in me and my work! Their wedding is next year and it will truly be beautiful + full of love!
